The Family Partnership
Suppose you manage your family more like a family office─a portfolio of assets and, more importantly, people. This would be the Investment Policy Statement:
The family must help man to discern his own vocation and to accept responsibility in the search for greater justice, educating him from the beginning in interpersonal relationships, rich in justice and in love.

Family: the bootcamp of despise─love
without love the family is not a community of persons and, in the same way, without love the family cannot live, grow and perfect itself as a community of persons.
A true story; my input on the following:

Solo una foto pero me estimulò un monton de pajas:
ISO y exposicion automatica del iPhone.
Historia: Iba en el blvd Los Proceres tratando de que JD empezara la siesta mañanera.
Composiciòn: la grua no quedò en la regla del tercio porque quedò en el centro. La fotografía es como enfrentar a un bateador: tirale nunca al centro. Con esta foto se me hubiera enbasado el bateador, pero iba manejando asi que me pela. Por otro lado no sé si la luna ofrece un balance, creo que si. El anuncio de tigo me molesta pero me molesta más una foto torturada. Lo que mas me gusta es que cumple con mi politica de captar lo que el ojo simple no capta: la luna la descubrí después: al tomar la foto iba pensando la grúa y los operadores desarmando el arbol gallo, como el set de legos que mas deseo (Lego TechnicCrane 42009).

Proposito del Portafolio: Adminstración de Luz & tiempo usando 2 sensores deApple iPhone 5:
1) Objetivo: Composición sin salir de zona de confort.
2) Materiales: Dos iPhones 5, un lente de pescado, un lente macro, un lente wide y un tele-foto de 12X. Todo valuado en menos de $1,000 en total. (Actualizado 21 Enero: Un telescopio, gracias a mi amigo Juan R.).
3) Estilo: jugar con el Shutter Time y/o el ISO. Usando alguan de las siguientes Apps del iPhone: ProShot, LongExpo y la camara original del telefono.
4) Abstractas: no gente que conozco. Cosas que el ojo simple no lograría captar (macro, tele, baja exposicion).
5) Horizonte: diario.

A Coffee Shop
There is this coffee business in at the office. We are about 500 individuals in this building. The lady-barista told me they use three pounds of coffee daily and four on busy days. How much coffee co-workers consume at this vendor?
If one pound = 460 g and 1 cup of coffee requires 10g, therefore they sell between 130 to 180 8-ounce cups of coffee on a daily basis. That’s equivalent of 523 homo sapiens collectively consuming 1.25 cups of coffee on a weekly basis.
We are not taking into account the coffee that is consumed away from this coffee idle, i.e. french press enthusiasts [like myself and other colleagues] as well as the coffee that the company offers at the braking rooms and other DIY individuals.
This is very, very low if you compare that the global weekly consumption is ~6 cups a week. According to the same source the weekly consumption on Guatemala is 2.5.

Photography Homework
Trinitarian thoughts on the volcanos Agua, Fuego, Acatenango:
How does it look when it is photographed with frontlight as opposed to soft diffused light? Or does it look best with sidelight? This is a project you can keep doing throughout the year to see how the light changes over seasons.
The point is to understand how the light affects your subject.
To continually improve your photography, become a student of light. Even when you do not have your camera, be aware of the type of light in your surroundings and how the light changes. Take notice when sun changes to shade or, even better, when shade turns to sun.
Seens that not only wind is a friend of spec but also light.

Aperture
The aperture also determines how many of the incoming rays are actually admitted and thus how much light reaches the image plane (the narrower the aperture, the darker the image for a given exposure time). In the human eye, the pupil is the aperture.

If we are going to get expensive, possible scenarios:
1) There is future in Honduras and Nicaragua for this industry
2) GT and CR might start to prepare to offer outsourced professional services, rather than customer care only. (Think on the CFA Standards of Ethics and Conduct)
So far we are an international business opportunity because of cost arbitrage. That’s the local “competitive edge”. It has expiration date and we are not the only cheap labor across the world. So it’s not an edge neither competitive.
