According to the last time I checked  things were different than now. Instead of East it is now the Central division the most competitive division with the lesser games by difference. Best team is the AAngles and not Oakland with a 0.627 while OAK dropped to 0.557. While league average is 0.506 the Yankees have 0.510, just a little above the average but #8 of a 15 rank, the very same spot since July 1st. So far 149 games have been played.
