If a dog spends ~60 days in the womb and lives ~9 years that’s a 2% of their lives in gestation. And if humans spend ~9 months in the womb and live ~65 years [well below G-8 average], then we humans must spend some additional time outside the womb to properly finalize the creation of oneself. Being outside the womb means that the father is not only the sperm donor but also the immediate reference towards uncertainty right immediately after the child is born. Protecting the integrity of the mother and child, rather than walking away.
I the Torah we see Abraham being called not lead a nation nor to be a warrior, but to be a parent. Nothing else than a parent. By this invitation he experiments the trinitary action, i.e. the grace of God.
